Koi are regarded as “Living Jewels” and “Living Art.” The elegant and graceful swim of Koi leaves a deep and pleasing impression with everyone. Mamoru Kodama founded Miyoshiike Co., Ltd. to provide joyful experiences through healthy and beautiful Koi in 1967. Miyoshiike soon became one of the most well known Koi dealers in Japan as well as all over the world. Miyoshiike and her customers won many top awards at Koi shows including All Japan Nishikigoi Show. As the world got smaller, the demand for quality Koi grew globally. In 2001, Taro, current president, started Japan Koi Online as a distribution center in Menifee, CA. in order to serve US Koi hobbyists with the same level of quality and healthy Japanese Koi and its supplies. Through internet, we started selling quality Japanese Koi with auction style nationwide. By the end of 2013, we have sold more than 112,000 Koi. In 2006, as an expansion of the business, we relocated ourselves from 1 acre facility in California to 15 acres farm in Hawaii, and renamed Japan Koi Online as Kodama Koi Farm.
